Many artmakers are intimidated about drawing faces and so avoid exploring the wonderful world of creative expressive characters with interesting faces.
In this workshop students will be guided step by step in how to loosely sketch faces and then bring to life with watercolor paint. The emphasis is on creating casual and loose face sketches that are enlivening rather than proportionally perfect. There will be opportunity to practice and make several artworks on watercolor paper. ALL SUPPLIES provided for a material fee.
No drawing or painting experience needed. This workshop will incorporate a simple introduction to sketching techniques and watercolor painting.
