Join Sunny in the world of Watercolor Whimsy! We will draw and paint a fun surreal little scene. Sunny will guide you through the finding of a character you will enjoy even if you think you can’t draw. Watercolor is a great travel medium!
Supplies Needed to bring for Class:
Watercolor Paints (my favorites are QOR and Daniel Smith. I keep mine in a plastic palette that holds 36 colors. It’s great for traveling since the paints dry after using. Bring any colors you like but make sure you have a good assortment plus a Burnt Umber and a Paynes Gray)
Watercolor Paper (my favorite is the Fluid Watercolor Block by Easy Block. I prefer the Cold Press. I often use the 9 x 12” size and paint several pieces at once)
Watercolor Brush (I like the travel type that you can buy on Amazon in a set with several sizes. My favorite is the size 4. When it is closed into it’s travel tube, it won’t get damaged when you travel)
Small Water Container
Paper Towel for blotting
Pencil
Stump for smudging
Eraser
Paper for practice drawing
Black and White Posca PC1-MR
Optional: Pens for detailing (I like the Faber Castel Pitt Black in XS and the Signo Roller Ball Pens in size .38 - whatever colors you like)
