Mushrooms & Tiny Forest Friends / A Whimsical Watercolor Workshop

Step into a whimsical forest world filled with playful mushrooms and tiny woodland friends. This fun watercolor class is all about creativity, loose painting, and letting your imagination lead the way.   We will explore watercolor techniques used to create both smooth and textured backgrounds.  You will also learn how to bring your subject to life with highlights and shadows. This workshop is designed to take the intimidation out of painting with watercolors and will be fun for both beginners and experienced watercolor artists. 

Materials Fee $20 paid at beginning of class:

Art Kit to take home
Watercolor Travel Set with mixing tray (12 colors)
1 round brush
 Mushroom and snail template

Use of artist’s materials while in workshop

Various watercolor brush sizes
9x12 300gsm cold pressed watercolor paper
pencil
signing pen
paper towels
Water cup
Artist tape
Board for taping down watercolor paper

Supplies Needed  to bring for Class:
