10:00 - 2:30
Tuesday March 16
$150.00

Please Note the Time of This Class.  You will then return on Wednesday at 12:30 to polish your finished piece of art.

Bronze clay begins as a workable, malleable material that once fired in a kiln transforms into beautiful, gold-toned metal creations. In this class we will focus on making tiny necklace charms and other 3D shapes. Feeling ambitious? Make a tiny dog.
Feeling seasonal? Make a tiny pumpkin. Feeling timeless? Make stringable beads. Amount of clay provided will allow for several pieces to be made - exact number depending on size and complication of designs. Experience with metal clay or polymer clay is helpful, but not necessary.

Day one will be a work day; work will be fired after class. Students return on day two to collect work and discuss finishing techniques.

Materials Fee $28 paid at beginning of class includes:

all materials necessary to complete the project

All optional:

Tweezers

Basic metal clay shaping tools, if you have preferences (community tools will be provided)
