Remember when we painted, collaged, and transformed old cigar boxes into little works of art? This class brings that playful spirit back—with a meaningful twist!

We’ll begin by choosing a color theme and gathering an inspiring collection of papers, images, and embellishments. I’ll share my own process for creating a one-of-a-kind “treasure box,” then you’ll have the freedom to let your creativity take over and decorate a special box of your own.

For me, this project has extra meaning. 2026 was the Year of the Fire Horse, which is my Chinese astrological sign. My treasure box is inspired by the idea of letting go of what no longer serves me while making space for new opportunities, good health, and nurturing friendships.

Come play with color, paper, symbolism, and imagination—and create a treasure box that reflects what you want to release, welcome, and celebrate!

Materials Fee $25 paid at beginning of class includes EVERYTHING you need to complete the class:

- Acrylic Paint
-Wooden Treasure Box provided
- Gel Medium
- Gesso
- Cradle Board
- Your own packet of Collage papers.

**Shared art supplies including: Dylusion & Distressed inks, stencils, rubber stamps, ink and I will  share my stash of Collage Papers

Supplies Needed  to bring for Class:

-Apron
-If you prefer your own Acrylics, bring them
-if you have specific Collage Paper you’d like to work with, bring it
-Container for water
