Who doesn’t love crows? If you’re looking for a fun, creative event where you can learn new mixed-media techniques, this class is for you!
In this Vintage Crow Collage Painting workshop, we’ll create a beautiful, layered background using collage paper, acrylic paint, and stencils. I’ll demonstrate each technique and guide you step-by-step while encouraging a playful, open-minded approach.
Once the demonstration is complete, you’ll create your own unique background before adding your crow image, with guidance available throughout the process. You’ll learn techniques for layering, painting, and creating interesting surface textures that you can continue exploring at home.
Every student will leave with a finished painting on a wooden cradle board, ready to hang!
Students of every experience level are welcome!
Materials Fee $25 paid at beginning of class includes EVERYTHING you need to complete the class:
- Acrylic Paint
- Gel Medium
- Gesso
- Cradle Board
- Collage papers including your crow
**Shared art supplies including: Dylusion & Distressed inks, stencils, rubber stamps, ink blending tools, stabilo pencil, magazines etc.
Supplies Needed to bring for Class:
-Apron
-If you prefer your own Acrylics, bring them
-If you have specific Collage paper you’d like to bring…go for it
-Container for water
