Nature is one of the most loved inspirations for artists throughout the ages. In this class, students will be guided step by step in how to create loose and expressive landscapes by observing shape and form to bring a scene to life. We will work with watercolors as well as acrylic paints and inks to utilize the flow of these mediums to create lively paintings. You will create at least two 9x12 artworks on paper and canvas panel. This is a beginner friendly class that is also suitable for the seasoned art maker who craves fresh inspiration and new techniques.
The instructor will bring nature photographs for reference that include forest and desert scenery.
ALL SUPPLIES PROVIDED though you are welcome to bring your fave palette and brushes.
